Margaret Anita Williams

Margaret Anita Williams, 84, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Evansville Protestant Home. She was born December 3, 1929, in South Bend, IN, to the late Jesse and Elsie (Grigsby) Byes.

She worked at Shanes Manufacturing and the Evansville Association for the Blind. She was a member of Westwood General Baptist Church, where she had been charter member of the Women for Christ Sunday school group. She enjoyed working in her yard and gardening.

Anita was preceded in death by her first husband, John Adams; second husband, Richard Fraim; third husband, Woodrow Williams; and brothers, Franklin and Donald Byes.

She is survived by her sisters, Rosanel Higginson of Zion, IL, and Eileen Memmer of Evansville; brother, Fred (Mary) Byes of Evansville; and many nieces and nephews that were very special to her.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 7, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Sloan, with burial in Saulmon Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
