Margie graduated from Reitz High School, class of 1954. She attended several Baptist Churches. Margie loved to play the piano. Her hobbies and interests included making hats for St. Jude, crafts, quilts, jewelry and antiques. Margie was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by son, Allen Robertson, and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Robertson.
Margie is survived by daughters, Sheila Timmons (Darren), Tamela Ubelhor; sons, Steven Helmling (Debbie), Michael Helmling (Rhonda), Randy Helmling (Cindy), Darwin Helmling, Jr.; grandchildren who helped care for her, Brittany Helmling and Cameron Timmons, and all of her grandchildren; great grandchildren, DJ, Persephone, and her other great grandchildren; brother, James Little, Sr (Geraldine, aka “Aunt Tim”).
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin. Burial will follow in Tupman Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2023 and on Monday, January 16, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
