Marietta B. Horne

She worked at General Tire for over 25 years and was a member of St. Mary’s Parrish. She enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, working in her flower garden and sewing. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, several of whom she raised until they were school age.

Marietta was preceded in death by her husband, James Horne; brothers, Clarence, Leo and Edwin Neumann; and sister, Frieda Moelenkamp.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Gary) Eddmenson and Rebecca (Bruce) Horne; sons, James and Mark (Ginny) Horne; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and sister, Bernice McClure.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 9, 2016, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 613 Cherry St., Evansville, IN 47713, officiated by Fr. Gordon Mann, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel and Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
