

Marilou was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
She had worked at Whirlpool Ordinance Plant and retired early from Plumbing & Industrial Supply.
Marilou loved to crochet, ride motorcycles, camp, travel, and fish.
She was a member of Gold Wing Riders, Chigger Digger’s Camping Club, and the National Association of Credit Managers.
Marilou was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Ohning; and parents, Carlos R. Smith and Mary Marie McDaniel.
She is survived by her husband, Dean Hamby; two daughters, Carla (Tony) Foster of Evansville and Donna (Michael) Parker of Jacksonville, FL; grandson, Mike Foster of Evansville; granddaughter, Paige Hape-Parker of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Garvin Smith, Sr. (Wyota) of Evansville; sister, Judith Miller (Urey) of Spring, TX; step-children, Belinda Grannan, Beth Ann Grant, Jon Hamby, and Paul Hamby all of Evansville; 17 step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 24, 2010, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 100 E. Michigan St, officiated by Rev. Walter Ullman and Rev. Chad Eckels, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 12:00 to 6:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel and Monday from noon until service time at the church.
