Marion June English

Born December 5, 1924 to Jesse F. and Minnie (Geiselman) Dassel, she was a graduate of Elberfeld, Indiana High School, a member of Evansville Lapidary Club and the Helfrich Ladies Golf Club. She loved to read and was an avid traveler.

June was preceded in death by her husband, Loren F. English and brother, Forrest Dassel.

She is survived by her children; Lorna Savage (Don), Marcia Trisler (Rick Bridgewater), and David English (Kathleen); grandchildren, Darren Savage (Elisabeth), Andrea Boberg (Steve), Tiffany Bishop (Boo), Rick Savage (Amelia), Raymond Joe Thomas (Tracy), and Marshall Thomas (Christine); great-grandchildren, Chase Savage (Judy), Audrey and Drew Bishop, Kurt and Ludo Savage, and Raymond, Colin, Blaine, Dustin, and Chase Thomas; niece, Donna Jane Dassel-Stuke (Michael), and great-nephew, James Stuke (Amanda) and their children, Ava and Madelyn.

June was a loving, generous person who will be missed by everyone fortunate to know her.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Alexander East Chapel officiated by Pastor Tara Powell. A Private Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
