

Marion graduated from Central High School in 1947, married in 1949, and worked at Citizens National Bank rising to Vice President as a branch manager of the Washington and Boeke office. Upon retirement, Marion and her husband enjoyed traveling and spending time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marion was active in Christ Church in Evansville and served on the Board of Directors of the Evansville Protestant Home.
Marion's gentle spirit and quiet demeanor made her many friends and she will be remembered for her kindness, thoughtfulness, and lasting impact she left on those who knew her.
Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years David Fendrich. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Moore, son Michael (Linda) Fendrich, 7 grandchildren Jeff (Lisa) Fine, Peter (Sarah) Fendrich, Caleb (Lauren) Fendrich, Andrew (Lauren) Fendrich, Ruthanne Fendrich, Sarahjane Fendrich, MaryGrace Fendrich, 8 great grandchildren Noah, Adam, and Matthew Fine, Hans and Klaus Fendrich, Calvin and Claire Fendrich, and her newest great-granddaughter Susannah Fendrich. She is also survived by her sister Betty Buedel and 5 nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN 47714. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Bible Study Fellowship, PO Box 675241, Dallas, TX 75267-5241. This Bible study was critical to Marion’s understanding of the Bible and the gospel.
Donations may also be made to the Evansville Protestant Home. The love and care the staff gave our mother will be forever remembered.
