Marjorie J. Toone

She was a long time, active member of Heritage Baptist church and was a homemaker.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Samuel Toone.

She is survived by her daughter, Anas Shanks (Ron); son, Jim Toone (Grace); grandchildren, LeAnn Shanks Hasker (David), Teresa Shanks-Thuerbach (David), Jeromy Toone (Shellie), Kyle Toone, Eric Toone (Heather Alvey), and Donald (Dawn) and David Sherman; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and special friend, Jackie Modlin.

The family would like to thank the staff at Atria Senior Living and Newburgh Healthcare Center for their love, care and kindness.

Services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 8, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Maurice Melton, with burial at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday, 2-8 pm, and Thursday, 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
