Marjorie L. Woodall

Marjorie attended Gentryville High School, graduating in 1936 and Royal Beauty Academy in Indianapolis. She worked as a hairdresser for several years prior to her marriage to Frank Woodall in 1942.

She was a life-long member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was a former Elder, Sunday School teacher, and active in the Presbyterian Women’s Association.

Marjorie was a 32 year member of Westwood Garden Club and past president. She was also a 25 year member of Welborn Hospital Auxiliary, now St. Mary’s Auxiliary.

She is preceded in death by husband of 68 years, Frank Woodall; parents, Oatley and Bertha Phillips; and two brothers, Ralph and Roland Phillips.

Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Nona Woodall Melton of Bloomington, IN; son, Randy Woodall (Cindy) of Evansville; grandchildren, Jeremy Melton (Betsy) and Rob Woodall; great grandchildren, twins, Max and Molly Melton.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memory, Gentryville, Indiana. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank all of the staff members at the Terrace of Solarbron for their care and love of our mother. Also, the family would like to thank Vista Care Hospice for their support.
