Marsha Elaine Grigsby Axton
October 1, 1952 – August 13, 2010
Marsha E. Axton, 57, of Evansville, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010, at Deaconess Hospital.
Marsha was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with family and cooking for Sunday family dinners.
She also enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, and bingo.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Maggie Mae Grigsby.
She is survived by her husband, Terry M. Axton; son, Michael Bledsoe, and his wife, Carla; daughter, Jennifer Sorensen, and her husband, Stephen and daughter, Terri Lynn Marrs, and her husband John; grandchildren, Ashley and Zachary Bledsoe, Evan and Jillian Sorensen and Aaliyah Marrs; and four brothers, Joe, Rick, Brad, and Darrell Grigsby; and sister, Virginia Exline.
Services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Raymond Abbott, with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess/Ohio Valley Hospice Care, 600 Mary Street, Evansville, IN 47710.

Terri, John, and family! I am a customer in your store, an remember Marsha very much when she worked in the store!! She was an amazing woman who always had a smile on her face an stories to tell!! Family was definately her top priority an she spoke of you all highly!! I will miss seeing her doing her dancing to some shakira song!! She will really be missed by all your customers!!
