Martha grew up in Union Township and graduated from Reitz High School in 1967. She worked at Crane Naval Depot, then had a career at Indiana Bell/Ameritech/AT&T from 1970 until her retirement in 2000. Martha thoroughly enjoyed time spent with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren. She happily volunteered for many organizations, including Honor Flight and Simpson United Methodist Church.
She was preceded by her parents; her beloved husband, Ronald; and brother, Marvin.
Martha is survived by daughter, Heather Buckley (Jeff); grandson, Alex Lenfers; granddaughter, Lydia Lenfers; brother, Martin Berry; sisters, Sue Berry and Jane Peckinpaugh; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation to AMR, Perry Township Fire Department, and Ascension St. Vincent.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Kenny Armitage, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
