Mary Ann Schlundt

Mary Ann graduated from Harrison High School and spent the summer between her junior and senior years in Mexico City, honing her Spanish.

Mary Ann attended William Woods College for Women in Missouri, where she was a member of Chi Omega sorority. Furthering her education, she graduated from the University of Louisville in Dental Hygiene in 1969.

Mary Ann married J. Gordon Schlundt, 3rd generation owner of Evansville's "Baby Shop", in July of 1973. Together they created a

gracious home on Lombard Avenue.

In 1983, Mary Ann and Gordon welcomed a daughter, Jill Ann, to the delight of both sets of grandparents, Helen and John Ritter, and Georgia and Robert Schlundt.

Mary Ann and Gordon both golfed at the Evansville Country Club, and enjoyed Bridge groups.

Mary Ann, always quick to laugh, was kind to all who knew her.

She will be missed so very much by her family, friends and cousins.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughter Jill Young and her granddaughter Lola. She is also survived by her cousins, Bonnie Hancock and Susan Gillock; sister-in-law, Robynn Schlundt VanHorne (Bill); niece, Cathy VanHorne; and nephew, William VanHorne.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
