Mary Catherine Beasley

Mary Catherine Beasley, 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep under a warm, sunny sky on Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was born January 3, 1940 in Evansville, Indiana to Earl and Xennia Snyder.
She attended Mater Dei High School. She married Donald Ray Beasley on April 19, 1957. Before becoming a full-time mother and housewife, she worked at General Tire in Evansville. Mary loved gardening and was a very talented and creative crafter who enjoyed a wide variety of craft and design projects. She was an animal rights advocate who loved caring for and spending time with her cats. She greatly enjoyed spending time with friends and family and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She especially enjoyed giving of herself for others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Beasley; brother, Phil Snyder; sister, Barbara Groben; and grandson, Dallas Garrett.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Lovell (Stan), Donald Beasley (Tami) and Debbie Shipp (Tim); and grandchildren, David Roy, Kim Baggett, Dexter Garrett, Jessica and Sierra Beasley; and many loving great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The family sends their gratitude to Linda E. White Hospice House; VNA Hospice services; and especially nurses, Mercedes Williams and Debbie Peckenpaugh.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 PM, Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit 10:30 AM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vanderburgh Humane Society, P.O. Box 6711 Evansville, IN 47719-6711.
