

She worked at Great Scot Brick Oven Bakery which became Buehler’s Buy-Low Bakery and retired in 2004. She was an amazing mom to her 11 kids and always put others first.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James A. Bickel, in 1987; daughters, Janet Sherretz, Marilyn Bickel, Barbara Morris; and grandson, Joshua Bickel.
She is survived by her sons, Jim Bickel (Cyndi), John Bickel (Ruth), David Bickel; daughters, Carolyn Titzer (Don), Sandy Naas (Simon), Rosie Wells (Harry), Deborah Whitmer (John), Lisa Taber (Steve); son-in-law, Jim Morris; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 5 step-grandchildren.

Services will be 12:00 PM, Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Matthew Schilling, with entombment at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday, 2-8 PM and Wednesday, 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children, Alzheimer’s Association or Aseracare Hospice.
