Mary "Frances" Hudson

Mary “Frances” Hudson, 90, of Evansville, passed away Monday, August 25, 2014, at West River Health Campus. She was born August 3, 1924, in Stuart County, TN to the late William Rufus and Hellene (May) Downey.

She loved gardening, playing Bingo, and her family.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wilfred L. Hudson.

She is survived by her ten children, Stephen, Charles, David (Nancy), Stanley (Brenda), Roger (Cindy) Mark (Misty), Larry, and Gary Hudson and Cheryl (Aladin) Afana and Judy (Frank) Martin; 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and sisters, June Nelson and Evelyn Garnett.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Richard Miller, with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 12:00 PM to service time at the funeral home.
