She was best known for her spunk and sense of humor. Mary loved going to yard sales, bingo and crafts.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Oliver Harper; daughter, Becky Snyder; four sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Chattin (Gary), and Donna Scales (Brad); grandsons, Carl, Tony, Jesse, Shannon, and Jacob (Brenna); brother, Walter Weibert; and her cat, Precious.
Mary's family extends a special thank you to the staffs of Columbia Healthcare Center and Gentiva Hospice for their care and compassion.
Mary loved animals. In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions in Mary's remembrance to their local humane society.
A private graveside ceremony will be held at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery.
