Carmen Schomburg Hermann Mazick

November 16, 2019

I was on my way to Mary Jane's funeral when I received word that mother had passed away the same day. We visited Mary Jane several times since I have been back in Evansville and always loved hearing about her travels and seeing her photos.

We all spent so much time with that family and I so wanted to speak with Casey and Carol - Mary Jane was so proud of them and, of course, Gen.

Please know that I was thinking of all of you and so wanted the Schomburg family to be present. Mother was 99 and was in really good health until just a few weeks ago. and died very peacefully.

So thankful for all of the Schmitt family - wonderful memories of Uncle Walter and Aunt Ethelyn - all of the card games - seems like a few weeks ago.
