

She retired from Mead Johnson after 30 years of service. She also worked in the lab at St. Mary’s Hospital for ten years, for Chrysler during WWII in the ammunition department, and she was a Pink Lady at Deaconess Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of the Humane Society of the United States, DAV Auxiliary Chapter 17, VFW Auxiliary #1114, Eagles Aerie, Women of the Moose Chapter 26, Moon Glow Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association, Community of Churches, and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Phyllis Williams.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonita (Steve) Hankins of Evansville; granddaughter, Erika (Randy) Boaz; and great-granddaughters, Kayla Marie and Sarah Grace Boaz, all of Colorado.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 12, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Bro. Robert Nall and Dr. Larry Lewis, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
