She retired from GE after 40 plus years of service and was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She loved going to concerts and also loved her cat, Koki.
Melodie was preceded in death by her husband, Don Cargill; and her parents.
She is survived by her sister, Melissa Ogura (James); nieces, Nicki Willis (Jeffery) and Ashley Ogg; mother-in-law, Beatrice Vandiver; three great-nephews; and one great-niece.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Fr. Zach Etienne, with entombment in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
