Mike liked camping, racing and spending time with his family and friends. He was a North Carolina basketball fan. Mike was a member of the Owls and the American Legion Post #265.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wally Moore; father who raised him, Anthony Knapp; brother, Steve Knapp; grandson, Levi Page.
Michael is survived by his wife, Theresa Moore; his mother, Ruth Ann Knapp; son, Randy Moore (Jennifer); daughter, Laura White (Lonnie); son, Dennis Moore; daughters, Angela McGuinn (Christopher), Jennifer Miles (Michael); grandchildren, Christian Simmons, Kyrsten White, Ryan Moore, Kendall Moore, Maranda Moore, Cody Page (Kennadi), Cyle Page, Courtney Vance, Chelsey Carlisle, Chloe Miles, Ethan Miles; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Joyce Young (Paul), Karen Sue Dallas (Bob); brother, Rick Knapp; several nieces and nephews; and close family friend, James Sweeney.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
