He graduated from Reitz High School in 1984 and worked for George Koch and Sons. He was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God Church.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Brittany Rister; parents, Paul and Judy Rister; brother, Jeff Rister; and nephew, Matt Rister and his wife, Katie.
Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 25, 2011, at Cornerstone Assembly of God, 3900 Kratzville Road, officiated by Pastor Gary Auten. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the church.
