Only until we ourselves meet our own destiny will we be able to understand why Mikey was taken from us way too soon. The first time our granddaughter, Katie, introduced Mikey to us, we knew immediately that she had made a wonderful choice. Mikey was so kind, polite, and his smile just warmed our hearts. He however was the only one of our grandchildren or their friends who did NOT like chocolate. Teasing him about that only widened his smile! His passing has left a large vacancy in our lives, but we will cherish our memories with him forever. You touched our lives, Mikey! God surely must have loved you tremendously to want you back home with Him so soon! Enjoy the ride!

Mikey was such an inspiration to everyone. His beautiful eyes and infectious smile lit up the room immediately the minute he walked in. He was a very giving man. He loved our daughter without limits and took such good care of her. He helped our son when he was in need of guidance. He took my dad on motorcycle rides, since dad cant ride anymore, it was a thrill for my father. He was incredibly talented. Our hearts are broken for this beautiful soul who was taken much to soon. May you rest in peace, and continue to watch over your family and Katie. You will forever remain with us sweet Mikey. We love you with all our hearts.

I had the pleasure of meeting Michael at my niece Ivy Nixon’s wedding. He said down at my table and just started chatting with me after I teased him about his age. We talked for a few minutes and although I can’t recall exactly what we talked about I do remember telling Ivy what a nice man he was and a great friend to her and her husband he was. He made quite the positive impression on her Aunt.
You have have my deepest condolences on a beautiful life taken too soon.
