He loved his job as a real estate agent, helping people locate a home, and obtaining their financing. Mickie also owned an archery shop for many years. He enjoyed reading, but most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Mickie was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Sutton; mother, Barbara (Dunn) Stokes; step-father, Dennis Stokes; brother, Bruce Sutton; and sister, Katrina Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Julibelle (King) Sutton; children, Jeremy Sutton (Julie), Michael Sutton (Susan), and Matthew Sutton (Terri); brothers, John and Greg Stokes; sisters, Sheila Browning and Denise Stokes; and many, many nieces, nephews, greats and great-greats, and cousins.
Visitation will be held from Noon to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Alexander East Chapel.
