Mindy Jo Opperman

Mindy managed the Hobo Bar for over ten years and has managed the Break Time Bar for over eight years.

Mindy was an avid Cowboys fan and enjoyed last minute adventures and small, unplanned trips with her work family. She also enjoyed decorating and dressing up for the holidays. Mindy loved doing crafts, bonfires, and spending hot summer days floating in the lake with friends. She was a member of the Amvets Ladies Auxiliary.

Mindy was preceded in death by her grandpa, Darrell Drake Sr.; grandpa, Jack Fornshell; Uncle Bub; grandpa and grandma Tosti; and Meral Opperman.

She is survived by her sons, Cameron Opperman and Elijah Craig; parents, Sherri and Jimmy Tosti; granddaughter, Sawyer-Jane Opperman; brother, Jason Opperman; nephew, Cooper Opperman; grandparents, Sandra Fornshell and Doris Opperman; and many aunts, uncles, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 14, 2023 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Terry Gamblin, followed with burial at Alexander Memorial Park, 2200 Mesker Park Drive.

Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 9:30 a.m. through service time.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mindy Jo Opperman Memorial Fund to assist with final expenses.
