Minnie Ruby Boyer

She worked at JC Penny’s in Evansville for six years and had previously worked at Meyers Jewelry Store in Pottstown, PA for 16 years. Minnie was a member of VFW #1114 Ladies Auxiliary and First Avenue Presbyterian Church. She loved to sew, read and work on word search puzzles.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Joseph Boyer; and sisters, Nellie Haire and Edna Gulledge.

She is survived by her nieces, Sharon (Larry) Krack and Sandra Gail Haire; and nephews, Michael (Debbie) Gulledge, and David (Nancy), Steve (Barbara), Larry (Donna), Dennis, Donnie (Wanda) and Roger (Jeretta) Haire; and brother-in-law, Harry E. Gulledge.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Mr. Jered Hemingway, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
