Miriam Jeanne Dicks, 87, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Charlier Hospice Center at Deaconess VNA Plus. She was born May 15, 1929, in Evansville, to the late Dola (Jeffries) Mangold.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Miriam was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Dicks, on June 27, 2004; and seven siblings.
She is survived by her children, Ann (Ben) Cline, Charles M. (Dawn) Dicks, Steven Dicks, and Patti (Michael) Whitledge; grandsons, Scott, Joseph, Eric, and Aaron; seven great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Betty Jo Mangold.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 3, 2017, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
