

Monnia “Sue” Hudson, 81, of Evansville, passed away peacefully in her sleep early in the morning on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at North Park Nursing Center. She was born March 7, 1934, in Marion, KY to the late Dalton and Nettie (Campbell) Owen.
She worked for the City of Evansville as a meter police woman for 25 years before retiring. She had many friends and was very outgoing. She was a head cheerleader in high school at Crittenden County High and sang in the church choir for many years. Sue was a very good golfer and played for years with her husband, Bill. She also loved to camp and fish, including deep sea fishing and once caught a 40 pound Red Snapper, the biggest fish of the day. Most of all, Sue loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mona Hudson; and sisters, Patsy Joann and Willellia.
Sue is survived by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Hudson; son, Duane Hudson; and brothers, Mark and Dalton Earl Owen.
Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Arlene Okey. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
