

Nancy “Bah” Dawes Miller, 83, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Evansville, beloved wife of the late Glen Miller, Sr., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Bon Secours Maria Manor in St. Petersburg. She was born March 17, 1930, in Evansville, to the late Charles and Zelma (Geller) Dawes.
She resided in Evansville and Newburgh for 78 years, but had been living in St. Petersburg, FL in her vacation home with her daughter, Jennifer, as her caregiver for the past five years. She graduated from Bosse High School in 1949 and was active for many years on the class reunion committee. She enjoyed world-wide travel with her husband, family and friends throughout her years and watching all her children and grandchildren dance, cheer or play sports. She was a fun-loving, inspirational person to all those that knew her and will be greatly missed.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Jennifer “Dee” Mckee and Jeri (Dave) Stallings; son, R. Glen (Melinda) Miller, Jr.; grandchildren, Amy, Jeff, Nick, Emily, Chad, Tad, Danielle, Jordan and Kiersten; and great-grandchildren, Kilea, Nolie and Taegan.
Her immediate family gathered in Florida this past weekend in her remembrance and a celebration of Nancy’s life will be held in Evansville on Mother’s Day weekend, Saturday, May 10, 2014. The place and time will be announced at a later date.
