Nancy (Wallace) Duke

She graduated from Bosse High School in 1962 and attended Western Kentucky University before becoming a nurse. Sassy was a LPN at Bethel Manor and St. Mary’s Medical Center and retired from Citizen’s Realty in 1995. Sassy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and shared many fond memories boating with her family at Lake Barkley.

Sassy was preceded in death by her husband, Eurie “Chuck” Duke; parents, Nan and James H. Wallace, Sr.; and brother, James H. Wallace, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Kellie (Shane) Epley; grandchildren, Joel and Lilynan Epley; son, Phillip (Misty) Duke; sister, Emily (Carlos) Pollard; niece, Diana Pollard; nephew, James Pollard; one great-niece; and two great-nephews.

Sassy’s wish was to be cremated. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 8, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
