She was past president of the Zeta Kappa Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Sorority. She was a Wedding Coordinator at Trinity United Methodist Church where she had been a member since 1975. She was a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and enjoyed Danish Embroidery.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 50 years, David K. King of Evansville; son, Paul Chris (Kristen) King of Newburgh; daughter, Sarah (Jeffrey) Hurm of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Sierra, Savannah and Kyle King, Ashley, Andy and Alex Hurm, Blake Walker and Annistyn Balthus; and brother, Paul D. Walling of Sanibel Island, FL.
Services will be 10:30 AM Friday, June 20, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jan Akers-Dubois, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
