

She was an artist, teacher, art conservator, and animal lover. Many of her paintings and drawings enhanced local collections. Nancy was an alum of the University of Evansville and the University of Southern Indiana. She enjoyed taking classes and workshops and also taught photography and painting. She loved music and film and was a sailing enthusiast who enjoyed traveling, living in Japan, Hawaii, and Elberfeld before settling in the Evansville family home on Chandler Avenue. Nancy worked extensively refurbishing homes in the downtown area and she donated time volunteering at the Evansville Clothing Bank. She was also a founding member of the River City Corvair Club.
Nancy is survived by her son, Chris; daughter-in-law, Nancy; grandchildren, Aidan and Ryan; and many close friends, including Eric and Aimee.
Celebration of Life Services will be 5:30 PM Saturday, February 20, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Eric Braysmith. Friends may visit Saturday from 3:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be made online at www.AlexanderEastChapel.com.
