Nichoel Ann Wilkerson

Nichoel Wilkerson, 54, passed away on October 19, 2026. Born May 14, 1972, Nichoel will be remembered for the strength she carried throughout her life and the steady resilience she showed in every season.

Nichoel was the love of her family’s life, and she found her greatest joy in simply being with those she loved most. Time spent with her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and her presence among them was a gift—caring, and enduring. Nichoel always fiercely believed in her children no matter what they wanted to do. She also cherished nature and the outdoors, finding peace and happiness in camping, fishing, and the simple beauty of plants and flowers. She had the biggest heart and truly believed in killing people with kindness. Through all she faced, Nichoel remained strong—a fighter whose determination never wavered.

Nichoel is survived by her husband, Fred Wilkerson; father, Stephen Foster; sisters, Cammie Boddie (David) and Dina Wheeler (James); children, Devon Roy (Shaleigh), Hannah Foster and Grace Foster; and grandchildren, Jaxon, Ezric, Xevair, De'Avion and La'Miya.

A Celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Elberfeld Kiwanis Club, 190 1st St., Elberfeld, IN 47613. A service will begin at 3:30 p.m. officiated by Pastor Johanna Sumner-Damme with a meal to follow.
