He graduated from North High School in 1970 and attended college in Florida. He later worked in Key West, Florida, and then came back home and worked in construction in the Evansville area and in Phoenix, Arizona.
He was preceded in death by his father, Haynes Stanley and his step-father, James Wells. Nick led a quiet and simple life with his two German Shepherds, Bay and Buoy.
Nick is survived by his mother, Dorothy Wells, and several cousins.
Alexander East Chapel is handling the arrangements. There will be no visitation with burial in Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
