

Norma Jeanne Davis, 75, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. She was born November 5, 1939, in Evansville, to Emil and Eloise (Reese) Mahler.
She worked as Secretary for her husband’s company, Jack R. Davis Plumbing, and served as Treasurer for the District United Methodist Church. She served as both Trustee Chairman for 12 years and Church Treasurer for 10 years for Fairlawn United Methodist Church. Norma enjoyed golfing and was the 18 Hole Champion at Rolling Hills Country Club for five consecutive years. She and her husband enjoyed spending time at their home on Lake Barkley.
Norma was preceded in death by her father, Emil Mahler; and brothers, Charles, Gene, and Kenny Mahler.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jack R. Davis; mother, Eloise Mahler; daughters, Lorrie Brackett, Jackie Brockman, and Jennifer (David) Skinner; grandchildren, Brooke Kruckenberg, Ryan Baker, Bryce and Andrew Brackett, Megan (Royster) Smith, Kathleen Paige Royster, and Jack, Ali, and Susan Skinner; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Lefler, Barbara Ann Moore, Judy Hawkins and Mary McIntosh; brother, Jerry Mahler; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday, November 24, 2014, at Fairlawn United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Randy Owen, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, and Monday from 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
