Norma Eden

Norma Jean (Sims) Eden, 88, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017, at Parkview Care Center. She was born October 15, 1928, in Switz City, IN, to the late Jesse Owen and Hazel (Stewart) Sims.

She worked at National Canning until her retirement. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandparent and sister. She was loved by her family and will be missed.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Eden, and brothers, Charles Melvin and Robert Sims.

She is survived by daughter, Linda Hiatt of Evansville; son, Steve (Marlin) Eden of Evansville; grandchildren, Larry J. Cardwell of Madison, IN and Jason S. Eden, Richland Eden and Alex Luck of Evansville; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sister, Nina Mae (Harold) Prittchett, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 1:00PM, Monday, January 23, 2017, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 10:30AM to service time Monday at the funeral home.
