Odis proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He dedicated 37 years to a career at Ford Motor Company and was a member of UAW Local 1111. He was also a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Henderson. Odis enjoyed building and flying large-scale remote-control model airplanes, a hobby that reflected his love of aviation.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Stephenie (Major) Clark in 2015; brother, Lloyd Clark; sister, Mickey Clark, and brother-in-law, Gary Salisbury.
Odis is survived by his daughter, Cotton Bolin (Ken); son, Bill Sider (Nancy); grandchildren, Keely Gallagher and Bridgett Sider; sisters, Charlene Salisbury and Candace Crowston; and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Trinity Lutheran Church and congregation for their continued support of our family and parents. Also, a very special thanks to his caregivers Crystal, Destany, Ashley and Pam.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN, officiated by Pastor Michael Liese. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery with full military honors. Family and friends may visit Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
