

Patty started working in food service when she was young. In concessions at Roberts Stadium up to its closing in 2011. Patty’s interactions with the public highlighted her unmatched customer service skills. Food service management was where she was able to brighten so many people’s lives. For the Last 20 years Patty worked at the Mt. Pleasant McDonalds with her infamous “Gooood Morning” and consistent smile. Patty’s positive energy, and dependability was unwavering across all aspects of her life.
Patty was a score keeper for the Evansville city softball league for over 30 years. Keeping the books for softball and volleyball, was as much as a hobby as it was a source to fund her many other hobbies. Patty loved to craft personalized gifts and shop for friends and family at any given opportunity. She loved to make people feel special.
Patty was an ideal role model for how people should treat one another. She made a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to have known her. She will be dearly missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her father David Carroll Kelley.
She is survived by her mother, Shannon Kay Kelley; daughter, Alexandria Kay Kelley; Sisters, Pamela (Shane) Majors , Paula Hardin and Penny ( David) Barter; Nieces and Nephews, Courtney ( Ian) Babb, Brock (Hannah) Hardin, Bo (Taylor) Hardin, Katelyn (Glenn) Mahoney, Haley Majors, Courtney (Bill) Airgood, Alexus (Steven) Huntress and Haley Barter, as well as two great nieces and four great nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 10, 2026 at Alexander Funeral Home North, 4200 Stringtown Road in Evansville. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
