Patricia Ruth Ray

Patricia and her husband owned neighborhood grocery stores in Evansville, she worked at Baynham Shoe Company, and managed Moonlight BBQ in Evansville. She retired in 2003 from St. Mary’s Hospital where she was a Health Monitor Technician. Patricia loved spending time with her family at Kentucky Lake. She also enjoyed watching horse races at Ellis Park with her husband, shopping with her grandchildren, and cooking for her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard R. Ray (2017); and her parents.

Patricia is survived her daughter, Sarah R. Carlisle (Russell); son, Dr. Barry W. Ray (Sharon); grandchildren, Whitney (Ray) Scott (John), Emily Marie (Ray) Bevo (Ben), Spencer Ray, Darby Ray, Andrew Carlisle (Chelsey), Katie Ruth Carlisle; great grandchildren, Waylon and Wyatt Scott, Annabelle and Caroline Carlisle; sister, Linda Ruth Rich (Jim); and brother, Gerald Mattingly.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
