Patricia Pat Joan Bethel Schneider

Pat was a secretary at Deaconess School of Nursing for 24 years.

She was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ where she served as a Deacon. She was a volunteer at SWIRCA and the United Caring Shelter.

Pat enjoyed gardening, bowling, camping, crocheting, and visiting with her friends at Horizon Homes. Her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her family and her dog, Pepe.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert E. Schneider, Sr.; brother, Albert Bethel; parents, Joseph Bethel and Gladys Hollingsworth; and step-son, Robert E. Schneider, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Debi Ervin, and husband Danny; son, Cliff Gray, and partner Sharon; son, Charles Schneider; daughter, Lee Ann Wagner, and husband Ron; granddaughters, Cindy Eastwood, Sandy Tremont, Wendy Burkes, Hollie and Chasiti Cravens, and Lindsey Schneider; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandson; and sister, Nell Smith.

Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Kendall Brown, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
