Patricia Marie Smith

Patricia Marie Smith of Evansville, IN passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. She was born on February 17, 1949 to the late Wilby L. and Rita (Hausman) Stumph. Patricia worked as a Custodian at Mater Dei High school from 1986-1996. She was a manager at Westwood Apartment Complex from 1996-2010. Patricia loved animals and always put her family first. She sponsored children overseas and Disabled Veterans Fund. She always cared for others. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Kathleen Miller, Mary Jane Fields and Rosemary Cowan. Patricia is survived by her husband of 52 years Joseph Smith Sr.; daughters, Anita J. McReynolds (Robert), Rita J. Williams; son, Joseph S Smith II; grandchildren, Brandon, Kimberly, Zachary, Matthew, Stephanie, and Casey; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday June 10, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Rev. Patrick Meeks, with burial to follow at Alexander Memorial Park.
