Pat attended Mater Dei High School and later graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a Bachelor’s in Communications and Western Kentucky University with a Master’s Degree.
Pat's true passion and calling in life was his career in teaching. He taught various courses at Ivy Tech Community College and University of Southern Indiana. His favorite course to be a part of was Interpersonal Communications. Pat also taught adults who were working toward a GED at YouthBuild Evansville. During and after his time teaching, Pat enjoyed auctioning and making a living through eBay.
Above all else, Pat loved his home and his family. He worked tirelessly to provide for and enjoy the time spent with friends and family. He enjoyed cooking for loved ones, home improvement projects, fishing, spending time outdoors, cheering on IU basketball and Notre Dame football, watching endless reruns of M*A*S*H, The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie, and taking care of his animals.
Pat is preceded in death by mother, Ruby Ann Branstrator and aunt, Pearl Culley.
He is survived by children, Kelsey Iacampo (Alex) of Newburgh, IN, and Dustin Branstrator of Evansville; granddaughter, Ava Rayne Iacampo; brother,
David Branstrator (Ginny); and niece, Julisa Hines of Lexington, KY. Pat leaves behind many more beloved friends whom he loved as family, and his cat, Gravy Baby.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel and officiated by Pastor Jeff Long. It will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA. Friends may visit on Friday, from 2:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.
