Peggy attended Clarksville Public High School and graduated from Central High School in Evansville, Indiana in 1943.
She was employed with several different businesses including Bell Telephone in Clarksville, MO in 1942, Salms Millinery, Republic Aviation, Evansville Shipyards, Faultless Castor, Wrighfield in Dayton, OH, and Crescent Plastics. After having children, she became a homemaker caring for her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Stella (Creech) Emery; husband, Teddy F. Buck; brother, Joseph Emery and his wife, Mary Francis.
Peggy is survived by her sons, Steve and Mike (Sandy) Buck; grandchildren, Jason, David and Ryan Buck and Laura Opperman; and great grandchildren, Jonathan, Nathan, Landon and Adalyn Buck; nieces, Janet and Susan, Jon and Mary Campbell; and sister, Betty J. Campbell.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Alexander East Chapel, with an entombment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.
