To Linda and Sarah, I know it has been over a year, sometimes it seems like she is still here. I love her dearly.  She was a special lady, who gave herself unselfishly, to her family and friends and most of all Jesus.

Linda and Sarah, I want you to know when both of you and Jerry went skiing here in Ohio, your mother, Phyllis, stayed with me at the farm. We really had a wonderful time just fellowshipping together. With deepest sympathy we pass along our condolences to the family of Phyllis James. Phyllis was much admired by us. I had always heard of PJ through my Aunt Hazel, but did not have the pleasure of meeting her until about 9 years ago. She was truly appreciated by me as she helped so much in putting my family tree together. She had grown up with my father's family and friends. On our first meeting in Evansville she showed us gravesites and homes and passed on interesting family information. We had three visits with her, the last one staying overnight in Cadiz. She showed us family photos and items. She was such a delight to be with and will be missed by us both. Again, please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Our hearts are with you all during this time . Ms PJ will be greatly missed but she will always be with her Siloam family in our hearts.

To the James family, our hearts break of Grandma PJ passing.  My children and grandchildren , great-grandchildren will miss her terriblely.  She was my mother-in-law, and I have adore her my much.  My heart breaks because God got his angel of mercy.  I know that I can't fill her shoes as a person, but I am going to try harder, not to be like her( there is only one)to do the things that make me think of her.  I will always in my heart love her.

Phyllis, a cousin of mine ( Uncle Georges' daughter) was always known to my family as Sissy... My mother,was  Sissys' Aunt Lou ( Louise Rosenkranz (HUber) So sorry to hear of her passing..

Phyllis was first my mother's friend and then a colleague, friend, and mentor to me at my first orchestra job with the Evansville Philharmonic. A special person indeed! I'm remembering her today in Tokyo where I am on tour with The Philadelphia Orchestra.

To all of Phyllis's loved ones....You have had the privilege of knowing and being love by a very special Christian lady. She had challenges and sorrows but rose above them with her faith. She gave so much of herself to each and every one of you. She lived her faith and made sure all of her children and grandchildren knew what being a Christian involved. She talked the talk and walked the walk. I was honored to have known her most of my life and will always remember her as the Grandmother with the camper... I always wished she was mine.
