Ralph T. Lloyd

Ralph was a US Army veteran. He was self-employed in the home improvement business, retiring in 1986. Ralph loved to fish and spent many summers at Kentucky Lake.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Lloyd; mother and stepfather, Nola and William Beal; stepson, Ray Williams; and brothers, Marvin, Kip, and Bobby Lloyd.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 63 years, Catherine V. Lloyd of Poseyville, IN; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Angie Lloyd of Poseyville, IN; stepdaughter, Shirley Thom of Pennsylvania; sisters, Marge Johnson of Mississippi; Betty Deckard of Evansville; Ruth Spears of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to North Park Nursing Center, especially the staff of the Memory Care Unit. The kindness, compassion, and caring they showed, not only to Ralph but his family as well will be forever appreciated.

Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, October 22, 2010, at Alexander West Chapel with entombment at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Todd Smith at North Park Nursing Center, 650 Fairway Drive, Evansville, IN 47710. Memorials will benefit “The Cottages” Memory Care Unit.
