

He was a loving dad and grandpa, who worked very hard to care for his family. He was a farmer and raised cattle, an avid fisherman, volunteered at the Rescue Mission, volunteer fireman, served on the Posey County Fair Board and retired after 62 years from Arkla / Dometic. He was a lifetime member of Memorial Baptist Church where he served as a trustee.
Ralph was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty; siblings, Martin, Robert, Selma Powers, and Ruth Brown; brothers-in-law, Archie Powers, Jack Brown and Gene Lester; sister-in-law, Shirley Lester; and his parents.
He is survived by his daughters, Sylvia Dillworth and Diane (Dan) Hart; sons, Robert (Cindy) Reich, Gerald (Carla) Reich, and Richard (Kim) Reich; brother-in-law, Donald Lester; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to say thank you to West River Health Campus, to all the wonderful nurses and aides and a big thanks to Heart to Heart Hospice for the wonderful care you all gave our dad.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Memorial Baptist Church, 7810 Marx Road, Evansville, IN officiated by Rev. Kyle Whitten and Rev. Bobby Cox.
Friends and family may visit at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN on Thursday, October 12 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. On Friday, visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
