Ralph Tilsley Watson, Sr., 87, of Henderson, formerly of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at Redbanks Nursing Home. He was born February 17, 1929, in Evansville to the late John Ralph and Lorene Schweikarth Watson.
He retired from Whirlpool after 36 years of service and served four years in the US Navy. After retirement, he moved to Lake Barkley, where he enjoyed spending time boating, fishing with his family and woodworking.
Ralph was preceded in death by his sons, David, Mark, and Ralph Watson, Jr.; and grandson, Scott Combs.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marget (Brown) Watson; daughters, Pam Cobb and Diana (David) Crook; sons, Chris (Susan) and Kelly (Missy) Watson; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Fritz Watson; sisters, Dorothy Conder and Sue Biggs; and sister-in-law, Laura Watson.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 24, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel, conducted by Celebrant Carrie Hatchett. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
