Ray was a wonderful guy and a  loyal associate at Levy's Lumber.  He was part of a team of experts that provided customers with truly exceptional service that just isn't found today. My deepest sympathy to your family.

Goodbye to a dear friend.  Ray and Sid Bailey were good friends for over 30 years.  They supported each other through thick and thin.  And thus became a good friend to me as well. 

The stories of their escapades will live on forever in our minds and hearts. Ray had a special way of telling stories that made us crack up with laughter. I hope that he and Sid are having a good laugh over a beer as I write this. 

It saddens me that we have lost a great guy with such a big generous heart and wonderful sense of humor.  I know his family and close friends miss his terribly.  I also miss Ray but know in my heart that he is in a better place.

We didn't hear of Ramon's passing until after his service and are so very sorry. We have many memories of good times.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Thoughts and prayers to the family. We will remember when Ray worked our bar at our Elks he was truly just a Beer Tender no fancy drinks!! We would laugh at him and send people to the bar and have them order some kind of fancy drink and would just say no beer only!!! He will be missed but in a much better place.

So sorry to hear about Ramon I thought about him often over the years. Growing up together as kids, playing baseball, running around in the woods and Ramon's favorite activity pitching horseshoes with my dad (Uncle Mel), me, Don McBrayer and Tommy Thomas.So sorry I couldn't make visitation, would love to see you girls Mary Beth, Nancy and Carmon. May God be with you during this time of sorrow. I bet Dad was waiting for Ray in Heaven with horseshoes in hand. God Bless.

Ray Diaz was always a good friend to my Dad, Sid Bailey, and to the whole family. He would do anything for anybody that needed help. He always had my father's back in any situation. He will be missed deeply. We love you, Ray.

Ray and I worked together in the late 70's and 80's at Poe Lumber Co. He was always a hoot to go running around with after work. We started collecting the Budweiser Christmas steins in '84 and one of us made sure we got them each year. We went to the annual Poe Lumber catfish outing each year and he loved those times not to mention the many fantasy sports leagues we got in and the NCAA auction at Marengo. The little bar the auction was held was really smokey and Ray went out to get some air and came back in and said "that fresh air will kill ya". He had a way of cracking you up with his quick wit and one-liners. One time we went to a bar and Ray had new shoes on and the bartender asked me if he was a narc, lol. 
      Ray will truly be missed by many but God got a good one when he took him. Love you my loyal friend. May God bless the family and many prayers for you.

So sad to learn of his passing.  He could always be counted on something fun to say, with his very own way of saying it.  He was a great friend to my Bailey Family, and will truly be missed.

As a long time friend to my brother in law, Sid Bailey, we will miss Ray deeply.  He was a good friend to all of us.  We will especially miss his quick wit and hilarious stories. RIP Ray.

I met Ray in 1974 when we were employed at Levy's Lumber & Bldg. Center. we hit it off immediately and remained good friends since. Ray had that gift that few had of making you feel like you had known him for years after meeting him for 5 minutes. may have had the best mind with numbers that I ever knew. Not sure if he ever really left his teens... he really enjoyed life!!! The kind of guy you would want to be in a foxhole with, he'd keep you relaxed and laughing while always having your back. Definetely a man's man.  He always said he wouldn't make it to 50. Well my friend, GOD blessed you and all of us by far exceeding your "goal"!  Your pain & suffering is over and you can now rejoice in GOD's arms. Love and will miss you brother!

We will miss Ray's fun stories and Butch will especially miss their "car talk" times.
