

He graduated from Scott School in 1946, Mater Dei High School in 1950, and Notre Dame in 1956.
He was a member of Evansville Athletic Club and Chiado’s Roundtable.
Raymond belonged to the Evansville Bar Association and Indiana State Bar Association.
He loved his beagles, Andy and Opie. Raymond enjoyed fishing, gardening, hunting, bird-watching, spending time outdoors, Notre Dame Athletics, and horse racing.
Raymond was awarded the Vanderburgh County Soil and Water Conservation District’s Urban Conservation Award in 2007.
The family would like to thank Dr. Steed Jackson, nurses and staff of Family Medicine Associates, and the staff of Deaconess Hospice.
Raymond is survived by his daughter, Laura Lamb (Aaron); constant companion of 22 years, Laverne LaVey and her children, Beth LaVey, Linda Ising, and Keith LaVey; and cousins, including Walter Schneider.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 7, 2013 at Centenary Cemetery, 14340 Old State Rd, Evansville, IN 47725, officiated by Rev. Peck Axton. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd, Evansville, IN 47711.
