

She was the Food Services Director for the Evansville Protestant Home. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, American Legion, a 40 year member of Bunco Club, and a committee member of Relay for Life. Her strength, courage and determination was what everyone admired in her. She loved faith, family and friends, was a wonderful cook and loved to travel.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Delores Silvers and William and Dorothy Kennedy; sister, Debbie Arnold and brother, Harold Eugene Kennedy.
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey A. Collins of Evansville; daughter, Pattie Claycamp of Newburgh; grandson, Codie Claycamp; granddaughter, Emily Claycamp; 30 year companion, Bob Digman of Newburgh; brother, William (Susie) Kennedy, Jr. of Evansville; sister, Susan (John) Garris of Columbia, SC; brothers, Danny (Judy) Holder and Steve (Becky) Holder, both of Evansville; best friend, Emma Nelson; cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be 4:00 PM Monday, December 5, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Robert Nall. Friends may visit Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Dr. Patel, Dr. Fox and the staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center for their wonderful care.
