Proud to be an iron worker for many years in Houston, Rex worked for Lucent Plastics. He worked also as a mechanic for Meisler Trailer Rentals. Rex loved to garden and grill. He enjoyed spending time with friends and lived life to the fullest.
Rex was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Huff.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley (Gentry) Huff; daughters, Carlita and Salena; brother, Eric Huff; and partner for life, Teresa Huff.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 11, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
