He was a Marine Corp Veteran and served in the Korean War. Richard was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1114 and a member of Laborers Local 561. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jimmie Payne.
Richard is survived by his wife of 66 years, Wanda; daughters, Connie Payne, Bonnie Wolf, and Donna Englert; grandchildren, Jennifer Wittmer (Brad), Richard Payne, Lacey Haley (Tommy), Kayla Hunter (Austin), and Ryan Rowlett; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A Private Service will be held at a later date.
